Random Acts of Kindness
"It always makes you feel good when you do nice things. I really like R.A.K. because I would never of thought to do these things on my own." -Alli Ecole McIsaac School
"In Random Acts of Kindness we made cookies and delivered them to places in the community. It was such a great feeling and it warmed my heart seeing how happy it made people. One of the shop owners was so excited that she hugged all of us when we brought her Christmas cookies. We also delivered chocolates around town." - Maddie Ruth Betts Community School

"Random Acts of Kindness made me feel proud that I could take time to do things for other people and the reactions were so amazing to see!" -Dylan Ecole McIsaac School
"The response to the Random Acts of Kindness was amazing. We received cards, e-mails, phone calls, flowers, cookies, and hugs! Even though we did these R.A.K.s to get nothing out of it but a good feeling and to make someone else's day, it was really nice to hear how appreciative everyone was. One of the responses gave us chills when we heard about it. We had delivered chocolates to The Orange Toad and when a customer heard about it, he bought $100 worth of coffee for others who came in that day for his own R.A.K. A lady who received a free coffee that day decided to purchase $40 worth of coffee for others as well. You just never know how doing a nice thing for someone can spiral so far and affect so many more people than you intended." -Kali Senyk LEAP Teacher
Students also went to the local grocery store and carried groceries out to cars or pushed carts for people as they finished shopping. It was a cold day and people appreciated the help, especially mothers shopping with their young children as they were able to put the kids in the car while the R.A.K. students unloaded the groceries.
