Mathematica Contest 2015
Students across Canada wrote the Mathematica contest on April 15, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. Students in grades 4-8 in the Flin Flon School Division were eligible to write. Ms. Senyk scheduled times for students to receive help on the preparatory tests starting in March.

The Mathematica contest is a challenging math test made up of curriculum from across Canada. More than 65 000 students across Canada wrote the Mathematica contest in April, 48 from the Flin Flon School Division. This contest was optional, but a great way for students to strive for excellence, and anyone who wrote the test should be proud of themselves.
Students who achieved the highest score in their grade are:
Vishwaka Epa, grade 8
Grady Bedford, grade 7
Skanthan Vijay, grade 6
Amasha Epa, grade 5
Kylie Dewhirst, grade 4
Students receiving a Certificate of Distinction for scoring above the Canadian average are:
Vishwaka Epa, grade 8
Grady Bedford, grade 7
Skanthan Vijay and Ethan Patterson, grade 6
Amasha Epa and Kaden Wallaker, grade 5
Each student who wrote the test receives a certificate of participation.
